In case you missed it, here’s a look back at a few business highlights for the past week.
Grubb’s Grocery wins national award
During its 2018 Annual Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the Independent Natural Foods Retailers Association (INFRA) recognized Grubb’s Grocery, 4 Jackson Walk Plaza, with its award for HIGHEST SALES GROWTH in its size category among its other member stores across the United States.
Grubb’s annual sales growth exceeded that of the other retailers from the 2016 to 2017 reporting period.
INFRA is the industry’s leading Association for independently-owned natural food stores, touting over 250 members in over 350 retail locations throughout the country.
“The award came as a complete surprise to me,” said Chris Felder, owner of Grubb’s Grocery. “We at Grubb’s tend to focus on opportunities rather than accomplishments, so our growth as compared to the industry norm was out of my periphery. This accomplishment serves as validation that we are indeed on the right track in providing goods and services that meet the needs of the customers we’re honored to serve.”
Grubb’s Grocery entered the Jackson market as the first-ever full service natural foods retailer in June of 2015.
