Tennessee Industrial Printing offers free 2022 Jackson photo calendars

Tennessee Industrial Printing (TIPS), a digital and offset printing company located in Jackson, is offering free, high-quality printed 2022 Photo Calendars, featuring images of Jackson, TN.

“We are excited to offer this calendar for free to the community,” said Wayne Chambers, owner of Tennessee Industrial Printing. “The calendar features snow day photos from Downtown Jackson and other landmarks around our city. We were glad to partner with our friends at Adelsberger Marketing to produce this calendar.”

According to Brittany Crockett – Social Media & Online Content, Adelsberger Marketing – the printed calendar has been digitally printed and is 12.5 x 27.5, vertical. They are available to pick up for free at TIPS, located at 51 Miller Ave, Jackson, TN 38305 from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Tennessee Industrial Printing was founded in 1972 by three local entrepreneurs. With a focus on quality and customer service from the beginning, they worked hard to transform TIPS into a very strong printing company. Today, TIPS has grown to employ 25 employees, printing items for local and regional businesses, as well as items for multiple Fortune 500 Companies located across the United States.

Commercial property on Walker Road in Thomsen Farms sells for $2 million plus

FirstChoice Property & Development LLC has sold commercial property at 429 Walker Road to Jamal Albarati for $2,730,000.

Tenants in the strip center are Mama Baudo’s Chow Bella, Chiro Plus, Westside Cleaners and Party Mart Liquors & Wine.

The sale is the second in Thomsen Farms in the past month.

Rivendell Capital Partners purchased a strip center at 1296 Union University Drive.

FirstChoice Property & Development LLC sold the property – which consists of 12,000-square-feet for $2,900,000.

The units range from 1,200- to 3,500-square-feet.

Tenants include Cypress Insurance, Queen Nails, Sage Boutique, Nutrition Faktory, GeriHab Physical Therapy and Wellness, Lifestyle Vision and HOTWORX.

Lauren Saliba named new director of Leadership Development at Jackson Chamber

The Jackson Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the hiring of Lauren Saliba as the new Director of Leadership Development.

According to a press release from Brittany Crockett – Social Media & Online Content, Adelsberger Marketing – Lauren, a native Jacksonian, is 2003 graduate of University School of Jackson, a 2007 graduate of The University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and a 2010 graduate of Jackson State Community College.

Lauren has been involved in the Leadership Jackson program for approximately two decades.

“The leadership programs, through the Jackson Chamber, have always been a passion of mine,” Lauren said, “I am honored and humbled for this opportunity and I look forward to coninuing to build on the amazing foundation that has been set.”

She graduated from the Jackson Chamber’s Leadership University program in high school. She is also a member of the 2017 Leadership Jackson class, was co-chair of Leadership Jackson 2018, and has served on the Leadership Jackson Alumni Association Board since 2019.

Jackson Beer Board revokes one license; approves 2 permits – 1 special occasion, 1 business

The Jackson Beer Board approved permits for a special occasion and a new business during its monthly meeting at City Hall, Tuesday.

The board also revoked the beer license for BP Jackson, Inc., 1831 U.S. Highway 45 Bypass, as the result of an underage alcohol operation conducted by Metro Narcotics.

Narendra and Nitaben Patel, owners of the convenience store, failed to appear at a Show Cause meeting, November 30.

Board members voted to credit the seven days in the 30 day suspension.

Chris Miller was approved for a Special Occasion permit for an event known as the Crime Stoppers Law Enforcement Ball for selling, storing, and serving beer at the Fairgrounds.

The event will be held January 8, 2022.

Daryl Jones and Brian Melton were approved for a business permit for The Parkstone Grille, 224 Parkstone Place, for selling, storing and serving beer off the premises where sold.
