Kroger updating dress code for employees
Following feedback driven from shoppers and employees, Kroger is updating its dress code for the first time in 10 years.
Nearly 400,000 in-store workers are required to wear company-issued shirts featuring Kroger’s shopping-cart logo.
Employees will wear T-shirts or polos while managers will be outfitted in button-down shirts or quarter-zip jackets, all in blue, red or black depending on the store division.
Kroger workers previously wore their own clothing under a company apron, along with a name badge identifying them as employees.

Clifton Marina Bar & Grill RV Park has a rich history that dates back nearly two centuries, serving as a vital river stop since the community was founded in 1840. Originally known as Ninevah, it was renamed Clifton due to the prominent bluff overlooking the Tennessee River.
This historic location became a modern marina in 2004 when Gene Davidson rebuilt the original Clifton City Marina, which had operated at the same site for decades. Today, under the ownership of Stacy and Christopher Huntingford, Clifton Marina Bar & Grill RV Park has expanded its offerings and transformed into a destination for travelers seeking food, entertainment, and hospitality along the Tennessee River.

Haywood County Schools, Ford Community Relations, hosting launch ceremony to celebrate expansion of pre-K education in Haywood County
Haywood County Schools and Ford Community Relations hosted a launch ceremony, Tuesday, September 29, to celebrate the expansion of pre-K education in Haywood County.
The event was held at Anderson Early Childhood Center, 620 W Main Street in Brownsville, Tennessee.
The expanded pre-K capacity within Haywood County Schools is made possible through the support of Ford Community Relations and the investment directly increases student capacity and enrollment for the pre-kindergarten program.
According to Haywood County Schools Superintendent Amie Marsh, the additional classrooms will allow for an over 25 percent increase in the number of students currently being served.
“We had a big waiting list in Haywood for pre-K and limited capacity,” Marsh said. “We are thrilled to have the support from Ford for the additional teachers and assistants needed to make this expansion a reality.”
School leaders, school board members and students will be present to officially launch this exciting new chapter in early childhood education in Haywood County.

Construction continues on StayBridge Suites, 2511 Christmasville Cove, which will offer 106 rooms and 128 parking spaces when work is completed on the 19,768-square-foot facility.
Located next to StayBridge Suites is TownPlace Suites, 2467 Christmasville Cove, which will offer 95 rooms and 114 parking spaces when work is completed on the 15,331-square-foot facility.
