The total number of affected workers is 127.

Planning commission approves 7 Brew site plan in Jackson
The Jackson Municipal Regional Planning Commission on Wednesday unanimously approved a preliminary site plan for a 7 Brew Coffee drive-thru at 2050 North Highland Avenue.
The request, submitted by R&C Enterprises, is for property in an SC-1 Planned Unit Commercial Development district. There were no opposing votes.
The location is on the busy North Highland commercial strip, next to Starbucks and across from Chick-fil-A. Plans call for a roughly 510-square-foot drive-thru-only building with eight parking spaces.
Preliminary site plan approved for nationally known tire dealer in Jackson
The consideration of a preliminary site plan for Southern Tire Mart, proposed to be located at Johnson Creek Boulevard, was approved by the Jackson Municipal Regional Planning Commission during its monthly meeting at City Hall, Wednesday.
The site plan calls for an 18,100-square-foot facility, on a five-acre lot in the northwest corner of Exit 87 off Interstate 40.
With corporate headquarters in Columbus, Mississippi, Southern Tire Mart has 333 locations in the United States.

Jennifer Graves, representing the STAR Center, for an event known as – Dancing With the STARS at the Carl Perkins Civic Center, to sell, store, and serve beer October 22, 2026.
Melissa Spurgeon, The Foundation, for two events to sell, store, and serve beer.
