Jackson, TN – Buchanan Realty Group (BRG) is pleased to announce the successful lease of approximately 12,000 square feet in the Hamilton Hills Shopping Center to Shoe Show, a nationally recognized footwear retailer. The transaction was brokered by Stan Clampitt and team at Buchanan Realty Group.
The newly leased space was formerly occupied by Tuesday Morning and marks another step
forward in the continued growth and revitalization of the Hamilton Hills Shopping Center, one of Jackson’s most established retail destinations. Shoe Show’s new location will offer a wide
selection of shoes, accessories, and bags for men, women, and children—serving as a
convenient and affordable footwear option for the community.
Shoe Show is a major retailer across the state of Tennessee and is part of a larger, privately
owned chain with more than 1,000 stores across 47 states.

Casey’s General Store opens at Park Place Development
Jackson, TN – Buchanan Realty Group (BRG) is proud to announce that Casey’s General Store is now officially open and operating at the corner of Ridgecrest Road and F.E. Wright Drive, becoming the newest addition to the growing Park Place Development in Jackson, TN.
The transaction was brokered by Stan Clampitt of Buchanan Realty Group after several years of
planning and collaboration.
The Casey’s location delivers a full-service convenience experience, offering made-from-scratch pizza, snacks, groceries, and fuel—providing much-needed services to the eastern Jackson corridor.
Casey’s continues to expand across Tennessee through both new developments and strategic
acquisitions, including 40 Pilot convenience stores in 2021 and 63 Minit Mart and Certified Oil
locations in 2023.
With existing locations in places like Dyersburg and Knoxville, their move into Jackson underscores the region’s increasing appeal for national retailers.

Auction-style shopping for returned, overstocked merchandise opening on North Highland Avenue
MAC.BID, which purchases truckloads of returned and overstock merchandise from numerous national big box and online retailers, is opening in Jackson at 2151 North Highland Ave., which is the former home of American Freight Furniture & Mattress.
Items at the 30,600-square-foot facility, are processed and put into individual auction lots that are sold on its website and mobile app. All auction lots start at $1.00 and are sold to the highest bidder without reserve pricing.
Virtually anything sold by large retailers can be found on MAC.BID. These items range in size from Apple phone chargers to Peloton exercise bikes. The typical retail price range is from $25.00 to thousands of dollars.
Construction continues on new hotel in Park Place East
An opening date has not been announced, but construction continues on La Quinta Inns & Suites, 140 East Park Square in Park Place East – near The Ballpark at Jackson.
The four-story, 87-room hotel – offering 89 parking spaces – is being constructed on a two-acre lot.
La Quinta Inns & Suites is a chain of limited service hotels in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Honduras.
La Quinta is the seventh hotel either under construction or open in Park Place East and Park Place West.
WoodSpring Suites, a 13,120-square-foot facility at 19 Bink Drive – 2939 Ridgecrest Road Extended – is being constructed on 2.46 acres, and will offer 142 rooms with 131 parking spaces.
WoodSpring Suites will join SpringHill Suites by Marriott, and Best Western Plus Executive Residency in Park Place West.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites and StayAPT Suites are located across Dr. F.E. Wright Drive in Park Place East – the same area as La Quinta Inns & Suites.
A seventh hotel, Marriott Studio Res, is under construction next door to WoodSpring Suites on Lizzie Anna Cove in Park Place West.
The new four story, 13,600-plus-square-foot prototype hotel will be constructed on approximately three acres and consist of 124 rooms and 133 parking spaces.
New restaurant opening at former home of Parkstone Grille in Park Place East
The build-out continues for a new Domino’s at 220 Parkstone Place in Park Place East.
With an opening expected in early June, the restaurant will consist of approximately 1,400-square-feet.
The location is the former home of Parkstone Grille.
Domino’s has three restaurants in Jackson – 941 North Parkway, 429 Walker Road, 1706 South Highland Avenue.

Manufacturing facility closing in Henderson County affecting 320 jobs

Employees of Adient, an automotive seating manufacturer, has announced the permanent closing of its Henderson County facility in Lexington.
Adient filed an official WARN Notice with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development, notifying the agency of a permanent closure effective June 27, 2025.
The total number of affected workers is 320. Adient is located at 659 Natchez Trace Drive in Lexington.
Adient is also closing its facility in Maury County, where more than 80 employees are scheduled to lose their jobs.
