Dunkin’ Donuts looking to add 4th Jackson location
Plans are in motion to add a new Dunkin’ Donuts in Jackson.
The proposed 2,000-square-foot facility will be located on Parkstone Place (corner of Dr. F.E. Wright Drive and Ridgecrest Road Extended) in Park Place East on approximately .63 acres.
The new location will be the fourth for Dunkin’ in Jackson.
Dunkin’ Donuts is located at 5 Stonebridge Place, and 1560 South Highland Avenue, in a building formerly occupied by Hardee’s.
Dunkin’ is also in the process of adding a new 2,000-square-foot facility at 2757 North Highland Avenue on approximately 2.2 acres of land, next door to Grease Monkey.
Leaders Credit Union expanding following groundbreaking in this West Tennessee community
ARLINGTON, Tennessee – Leaders Credit Union, a member-owned financial cooperative based in Jackson, Tennessee, held a groundbreaking ceremony for their new branch in Arlington, Tennessee on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
According to a press release from Amy Lovins – Leaders Credit Union’s marketing & public relations specialist – civic leaders, community partners, and Leaders Credit Union leadership attended the groundbreaking to commemorate the beginning of the building process.
Leaders is working with local companies, Renaissance Group and Moss-Carpenter Construction Company, to build this 2,983 square foot facility. The branch is projected to be completed by the end of 2024.
“We’re excited to announce the expansion of our services into the town of Arlington,” said Todd Swims, President and CEO at Leaders Credit Union. “Our team of financial champions is looking forward to extending a warm welcome to new members and providing them with personalized guidance every step of the way on their financial journey. We’re here to empower our community, offering the resources and support they need to achieve their financial goals and dreams.”
In addition to members of the architecture and construction teams, the Arlington Chamber Vice President, Chamber Ambassadors, Leaders Executive team, and financial champions were in attendance.
Buc-ee’s announces plans for West Tennessee location
Buc-ee’s, called the Disney World of convenience stores, is headed for Fayette County in West Tennessee.
Known for food, multiple fuel pumps, super clean restrooms, and home décor, will be located off Interstate 40 at exit 28 in Gallaway – which is about 14 miles from BlueOval City.
Buc-ee’s typical center is approximately 74,000-square-feet with 71 restrooms and 120 fuel pumps.
American Eagle opening store on Vann Drive
An opening date has not been announced, but American Eagle is opening at 112 Vann Drive in The Columns II.
American Eagle, which offers apparel that includes jeans, tops, and athleisure, is in the Old Hickory Mall, 2021 North Highland Avenue.
Management declined to comment on the future of the mall location.
American Eagle is moving into a facility once occupied by Rue21.
Store hours are 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., Monday – Friday and Noon to 6 p.m., Sundays.
Commercial property on Stonebridge Boulevard sells for six figures
Commercial property at 31 Sandstone Circle has been sold.
APEX Bank sold the 9,479-square-foot facility – which sits on a 1.55 acre lot – to 31 Sandstone LLC, for $800,000.
The property – located next to Vanderbilt Children’s Specialty Clinic – is a former home of Dialysis Clinic, Incorporated.
