Business Spotlight – Angie Box, Kathryn Tucker join Haltom Real Estate Group

Kathryn was born and raised in Humboldt, Tennessee. She received a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Tennessee-Martin, a Masters degree from the University of Memphis and a Doctor of Juris Prudence from Nashville School of Law.
Real estate ventures have always been a part of Kathryn’s life as well as having successful careers as both a teacher and an attorney.
She has a meticulous eye for detail and beauty and a talent for seeing the big picture and making deals come together.
She and her husband, Johnny, have two adult children and five grandchildren.

Plans approved for new upscale sports bar – Jonathan’s Grille – in Park Place West
The consideration of a preliminary site plan for Jonathan’s Grille, proposed to be located at Chloe Place in Park Place West, has been approved by the Jackson Municipal Regional Planning Commission.
Submitted by Olympian Construction Company, LLC on behalf of Burton Moore Inv, the facility will consist of 7,666-square-feet on 2.61 acres and offer 137 parking spaces.
Local real estate broker & contractor, Alex Hollman with Hickman Realty Group & Hollman Builders with Chris Carothers – Hickman Realty Group – recruited the upscale Nashville-based sports bar.
Jonathan’s Grille was established in 1999 and is a family-owned, upscale sports bar and restaurant based out of middle Tennessee.
Construction continues on largest single investment in Madison County history
Construction continues on 6K Energy, the cathode (negatively charged electrode by which electrons enter an electrical device) materials production division of 6K Inc., in the Airport Industrial Park on James Lawrence Road in Madison County..
The largest single investment in the history of Madison County is expected to create 230 new jobs.
6K Energy’s PlusCAM factory will be the world’s first UniMelt plasma cathode plant, providing low cost, ultra sustainable production of battery material for localized supply chains in the United States.
The battery material manufacturing plant will initially invest $200 million in the 120,000-square-foot facility for construction and equipment – a number that is expected to expand to $250 million.
6K Energy – the world’s only sustainable production for battery materials – also has a production site in Pennsylvania.
New seafood restaurant opening on Campbell Street near North Highland Avenue
Renovations continue at 936 Campbell Street for a new seafood restaurant – Symon’e Seafood Station – which is owned by the husband-and-wife team of Garyon and Raven Collier.
“We’ll have six or seven additional employees, and we are excited and ready to serve,” Raven Collier said, “It will be the best seafood in town.”
Originally from Humboldt, Raven said a few items on the menu will include seafood potatoes, crab boil, lobster, shrimp, and pasta.
Raven said she and Garyon are looking to open the restaurant in late February or early March.
Business hours are 11 a.m. – 6 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
The restaurant opens at the former location of Saucy Jake’s Street Food.
Jacob and Regina Richmond, who own Skillet Junction in the Neely House, 575 South Royal Street, opened Saucy Jake’s Food Truck in June 2016.
The truck’s home base is at the Neely House.
