New convenience store near Ballpark at Jackson approved by Planning Commission
The consideration of a preliminary site plan for Casey’s – a convenience store – was approved by members of the Jackson Regional Planning Commission during their monthly meeting at Jackson City Hall, Wednesday.
The proposed facility will be located at 2990 Ridgecrest Road Extension – next door to KFC – and will consist of 4,318-square-feet.
Submitted by Robert Sweet on behalf of BC Partners, the store will be constructed on 2.90 acres and offer 22 parking spaces.
Popular bakery making move to Vann Drive, adding Frothy Monkey coffee
When renovations are complete, ‘How Sweet it is by Tim’ will open at a new location – 405 Vann Drive – in early February 2024.
Owner Tim Hayes is leaving 24 Federal Drive for a for a 3,000-square-foot facility once home to Marilyn Jackson’s Gifts.
Located next door to Roberts Jewelers, Tim has announced his bakery will offer Frothy Monkey coffee.
“We’re thrilled to share that your favorite coffee experience is about to get even better,” Tim said on his Facebook page, “Our new location is set to bring Nashville’s best coffee to town, and we couldn’t be more excited! Get ready for the best of the best: Frothy Monkey coffee!”
Commercial property in Thomsen Farms sells for $2.4 million +
The home of Hopebridge Autism Therapy Center, 68 Exeter Road in Thomsen Farms, has been sold.
BRG Development sold the 9,800-square-foot building – located next door to Premier Dental Center – to Thomas M. Hayes and Judy A. Hayes for $2,436,000.
Headquartered in Indianapolis, Hopebridge operates over 100 centers in the following twelve states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Ohio and Tennessee.
Beer Board approves 2 special occasion, 1 business permit during monthly meeting
The Jackson Beer Board approved three permits – two special occasion and one business – during their monthly meeting at Jackson City Hall, Tuesday.
Lee Eddleman, representing the Jackson Symphony, was approved for a special occasion permit to sell, store and serve January 27, 2024, at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.
Tracy Case, representing ‘Friends of Heart’ was approved for a special occasion permit for an event known as ‘Boots & Bling,’ to sell, store, and serve February 9, 2024, at the Jackson Fairgrounds, 800 South Highland Avenue.
Amitkumar Patel was approved for a business known as Shree Varahi Incorporated, 112 Wright Industrial Cove, for selling, storing, and distributing for consumption off the premises.
