Leaders Education Foundation gives $45,000 at 2023 annual meeting
JACKSON, Tennessee – Leaders Education Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3), hosted its fourth annual meeting on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, and donated $20,000 to The READ Team and awarded $25,000 in scholarships to West Tennessee graduating high school seniors.
According to a press release from Mary Helen English – marketing & public relations specialist – Leaders Education Foundation is continuing its 5-year commitment to The READ Team, a program of United Way of West Tennessee.
At the 2023 Annual meeting, Leaders Education Foundation presented a $20,000 check to help continue its mission. The READ Team allows volunteers to partner with students during school hours and under school staff supervision to assist students with reading initiatives weekly.

Dynamix Physical Therapy announces regional directors as business expands
MILAN, TENN. – Dynamix Physical Therapy has announced four team members as regional directors for the company effective immediately.
According to a press release from Katie Graves – Dynamix – these directors have shown excellent leadership skills within their clinics, and will be the main point of contact for clinic directors in their respective regions. Those team members are Jackson Clouse, Will Record, Matt Washburn and Cory Wilcox.
“As our geographical footprint expands, we have decided to streamline our communication and decision-making process,” said Russ Huffstetler, co-founder of Dynamix. “Naming four regional directors will create an access point for clinic directors and team members alike.”

Doctor Suds III sells car wash in Park Place West for $4 million plus
Doctor Suds III, a new car wash located at 60 Chloe Place, has been sold.
Located on 1.47 acres next to Sonic in Park Place West, Boing US Holdco Inc., purchased the property for $4,250,000.
When the business opens, vehicles will be washed in a 150-foot tunnel and offer 33 vacuum cleaners.
6K Energy creating 230 new jobs with $250 million investment at Airport Industrial Park in Jackson
6K Energy, the cathcode materials production division of 6K Inc., will create 230 new jobs at a new site in the Airport Industrial Park on James Lawrence Road in Madison County.
Company officials and the Greater Jackson Chamber made the announcement during a press conference at theCO, Tuesday.
6K Energy’s PlusCAM factory will be the world’s first UniMelt plasma cathode plant, providing low cost, ultra sustainable production of battery material for localized supply chains in the United States.
The battery material manufacturing plant will initially invest $200 million in the 120,000-square-foot facility for construction and equipment – a number that is expected to expand to $250 million. FOR COMPLETE STORY CLICK HERE
Construction on new hotel concept nears completion on Parkstone Place in Park Place East
An opening date has not been announced, but construction continues on a new hotel concept – stayAPT Suites – at 86 Parkstone Place in Park Place East near the Holiday Inn Express & Suites.
The 59-room hotel will consist of 19,853 square feet located on a 2.19 acre lot, and offer 94 parking spaces.
The suites will offer 500-plus square feet and feature a full-size kitchen with full-size appliances, dedicated living room and a separate bedroom.
