The name of the hotel has not been announced, but Raj Patel – Jackson Hotel Partners LLC – has purchased 2.80 acres in The Columns Phase III on Corinthian Cove from Columns II Partners – Gary A. Taylor – for $1,463,616.
Phase III is situated at the intersection of Interstate 40 and U.S. Highway 412, and is the final development phase for this development and is designed to provide opportunities for not only retail, but also medical and residential – multi-family and hospitality – uses.
New home construction approved for Jackson subdivision
The consideration of a final plat for Kingston Creek and Clarendon Cove, comprising of 12 lots and one common area has been approved by the Jackson Municipal Planning Commission.
Submitted by Surveying Services, Inc., on behalf of Kingston Creek Partners, the site is located off Cooper Anderson Road on approximately 4.62 acres.
Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers proposed for North Highland Ave.
The consideration of a site plan for Express Oil Change and Tire Engineers, proposed for 3132 North Highland Avenue, has been approved by the Jackson Municipal Planning Commission.
Submitted by Rachel Zelinsky, Express Oil Change and Tire Engineers will be located next door to Walgreens – corner of North Highland Avenue and East University Parkway – and will occupy 0.77 acres.
Express Oil Change, headquartered in Hoover, AL, is an automotive maintenance services chain located throughout the southern United States.
Chamber announces 2022-2023 Leadership University graduates
Jackson, Tennessee – Thirty-nine aspiring young leaders CLICK HERE have completed the 2022-2023 Leadership University program, a community youth leadership development program of the Greater Jackson Chamber.
The class represents all public, private and home-schooled juniors in Jackson-Madison County high schools.
Leadership University is a 10-month program designed to identify a diverse group of high school students who demonstrate leadership potential; and to develop in an interactive environment, the framework for constructive leadership, committed involvement and responsible participation in the future of this community.

A consideration of a request to rezone property located at 2990 Bells Highway to office district from forestry-agriculture-recreation has been approved by the Jackson Municipal Regional Planning Commission.
The request, submitted by Clay Williams and Associates, Inc., on behalf of Jones and Taylor Limited Partnership consists of approximately 5.86 acres.
Arrow Athletics acquires Total Fitness Kickboxing; classes moved to 2715 Bells Highway
Arrow Athletics continues to grow its portfolio following the acquisition of Total Fitness Kickboxing – now Arrow Kickboxing.
