Construction begins on new InSouth Bank in Thomsen Farms
An opening date has not been announced, but construction has started on a new InSouth Bank in Thomsen Farms.
The full-service branch will be located at the corner of Union University Drive and Exeter Road.
Tennessee’s oldest community bank opened a loan production office in Jackson at 1348 Union University Drive in Thomsen Farms in July 2019.
With corporate offices in Brownsville, INSOUTH Bank has branches in Brownsville, Covington, Atoka, Millington and Memphis.
Business Spotlight – Krista Hale named operations coordinator at Adelsberger Marketing
JACKSON, TENNESSEE – Adelsberger Marketing is excited to announce the hiring of Krista Hale as its new operations coordinator.
She is a Jackson native, although has spent the majority of her life in Rockford, Illinois.
According to a press release from Roshni Patel – Adelsberger Marketing – Krista is a graduate of Lee University and has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.
“I am excited to join the Adelsberger Marketing team and for the opportunity to help foster and create a more efficient business for our team and clients,” Krista said.
As operations coordinator, her responsibilities will include keeping the team up to date – and on schedule – for all projects, and being the central point of contact for Adelsberger Marketing.

City Lumber Company showroom taking shape on West Lafayette Street
Renovations on a new showroom for City Lumber Company, 226 West Lafayette Street, should be completed in about 60 days.
The showroom for residential architecture will include windows, doors and flooring for non-commercial properties.
Crocker Construction Company Inc., is renovating the building, which is approximately 4,000 square feet.

Jackson landmark leveled on Old Hickory Boulevard
Passersby will notice the former home of the Old Hickory Steak House, 624 Old Hickory Blvd., is being demolished.
Fire destroyed the building in early November 2021, that was also once home to the Village Inn Pizza Parlor.
Village Inn Pizza Parlor – which closed September 30, 2007 – had been a fixture at 624 Old Hickory Blvd., since it first opened in 1969.
