Representing the buyer, Stan Clampitt – Buchanan Realty Group – brokered the deal with Middle Tennessee Investment Group Umiya Jackson Partners.
The 7,070-square-foot facility is fully leased by three tenants – Moe’s Southwest Grill, TLC Nails and Nerdvana.
The property is located on .75 acres off Vann Drive and Interstate 40, near Walmart, Sam’s Club and Lowe’s.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe opens in Thomsen Farms
Tropical Smoothie Cafe, 1280 University Drive, has opened.
With seating available for 45 customers, Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a casual health-conscious chain cafe featuring custom smoothies, sandwiches & wraps.
Located in Thomsen Farms, next door to West Tennessee Bank, Tropical Smoothie Cafe is owned and managed by Jaymik Patel.
The restaurant occupies 1,800-square-feet, and offers a drive thru window.
With corporate offices located in Atlanta, Tropical Smoothie Cafe has more than 900 locations nationwide.
Business hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday; 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sundays.

Ann-Marie Kelley negotiated the lease for FirstChoice Property & Development.
West Tennessee Healthcare – Robert Butler named employee of the month for July
Robert Butler, an employee at West Tennessee Healthcare for over 40 years, is recognized as a team player in Patient Transport.
He was also recognized as the West Tennessee Healthcare employee of the month for July, when the WTH Board of Trustees held their monthly meeting at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, Tuesday.
Robert was presented with the award by Vice President: Teresa Freeman, CNO, and Director: Beth VanWyk, Patient Transport.
Coworkers say he is like an encyclopedia for his department, a “fountain of transport knowledge.”
Robert is an extremely hard worker, never complains, and takes initiative to come up with ways to improve the department. Congratulations to Robert!
Karen Harris, an employee with West Tennessee Healthcare for over 11 years, was recognized as the organization’s employee of the month for April.
Karen works at Neuroscience & Spine and The LiFT Wellness Center.
Vice President: Darrell King, and Director: David Alred, Primary Care/Outpatient, WT Medical Group made the presentation.
Due to the pandemic, the presentation was not officially made until Tuesday.

C&C Wine & Liquor sets reopening date
C&C Wine & Liquor, 2644 North Highland Avenue, has hopes of reopening in mid-August.
A fire leveled the business October 6, 2019.
The new building will face North Highland Avenue, and a drive-thru window is being added.
Bud Heath, who owns the business, opened the 8,000-square-foot facility in September, 2016, after relocating from 2030 North Highland Avenue.
