A United States Marshal, who was shot multiple times while attempting to serve a fugitive warrant at an address on Morningside Drive at Fairmont Avenue, Monday, is in stable condition at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The Deputy was accompanied to the residence by officers from the Jackson Police Department.
The case remains under investigation by the Jackson Police Department, Madison County Sheriff’s Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol and the U.S. Marshals.
