Management could not be reached for comment, but according to a post on the restaurant’s Facebook page, Snappy Tomato, 1649 South Highland Ave., closes today.
“It is with a heavy heart, that we are announcing that Snappy Tomato South Jackson will be closing it’s doors on February 28 at 8 p.m.
We have worked tirelessly for the last three years to make Snappy Tomato South a fun family spot in South Jackson. We had hoped that we would be able to stay here for many years to come, but it is time for our family to pursue other opportunities. We ask that you please support your locally owned South Jackson restaurants and businesses.
We want to thank our loyal customers, our amazing staff and everyone who has been so kind to us. We still believe in South Jackson and hope that someone is able to prosper in this location.
We hope that you will come in to eat one last time with us and give us an opportunity to thank you for your friendship. There are so many people we are going to miss.
If you are looking for a great employee for your business, please let us put you in touch with one of our amazing crew members. They are all like family and we are personally committed to helping each and every one of them find new employment.
Thank you for great memories! We hope that we have been able to make a positive impact on your life at some point over the last three years. Please do come see us again over the next few days so we can hug your neck and thank you in person.”
Much love,
The Bell Family
