SK On Tennessee has implemented further workforce reductions at its battery manufacturing facility in Stanton, with the latest round of cuts totaling about 40 positions.
These reductions follow SK On Tennessee’s transition to a stand-alone entity after its joint venture with Ford concluded. The company will retain approximately 30 employees at the Stanton plant. This development continues a trend of staffing adjustments since the joint venture’s dissolution.
In March, it was announced approximately 150 positions would be eliminated.
