January 29,2018, (JACKSON Tenn.) – Jackson Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the vicinity of 1225 N. Highland Avenue.
On Sunday January 28th, at approximately 3:13 p.m., officers with the Jackson Police Department responded to a call of shots fired in the vicinity of 1225 N. Highland Avenue.
In an alley behind 1225 N. Highland, officers located a victim suffering from apparent gunshots. The victim, who was suffering from serious injuries, was transported by Emergency Medical Services to a local hospital.
Jackson Police believe this was an isolated incident and the investigation is ongoing.
