Paul Thomas, sheriff of Gibson Conty, was booked into the Gibson County Correctional Complex in Trenton, Tuesday.
According to reports, at approximately 10:43 a.m., Paul Thomas was booked on a capias – a writ ordering the arrest of a named person – with a bond set at $25,000 – but he bonded out of custody less than 10 minutes later.
The FBI conducted search warrants in Gibson County – in September 2022 – which included the home of Paul Thomas, and properties including the Orchard House transitional home, which according to the Milan Mirror Exchange, is an approved Tennessee Department of Corrections transitional house.
