Alamo, TN – Shannon Haynes of Alamo, Tennessee, announces her candidacy for re-election as State Executive Committeewoman for District 25 in the upcoming August Republican Primary.
Haynes currently serves as Treasurer of the Tennessee Republican Party and as State Executive Committeewoman representing the 25th senate district, which includes Lake, Dyer, Crockett, Madison, Henderson, Decatur, and Perry counties.
“It has been an honor to serve and to help strengthen the Tennessee Republican Party as its Treasurer,” said Haynes. “I am running for re-election because there is more work to do. I remain committed to fighting for conservative values, fiscal responsibility, better schools, safer communities, and economic opportunity for our families and would sincerely appreciate the vote of all West Tennesseans who share these values and priorities for our state.”

- TNGOP Treasurer- First female Treasurer in party history, overseeing financial integrity and supporting Republican victories across Tennessee.
- State Executive Committeewoman, District 25- Strong advocate for rural West Tennessee priorities on the state party’s governing body.
- Crockett County Republican Leader – Longtime grassroots activist supporting local candidates and party growth.
- Chairman of the Alamo City School board.
- Tennessee Young Republicans- Former Treasurer, helping develop the next generation of conservative leaders.
- National Service- Served as a Trump delegate to the Republican National Convention; appointed as a 2016 Presidential Elector for Donald J. Trump.

Haynes and her husband Loren live in Alamo with their two children and are active members of their community.
Early voting begins Friday and Election Day for the Republican Primary will be held August 6. Voters in District 25 are encouraged to re-elect Shannon Haynes to continue her effective leadership on the State Executive Committee.
