A celebration of life for University School of Jackson Upper School English teacher Rob Platt will be held at First United Methodist Church, 200 S. Church Street, Jackson, today.
The visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., with the service immediately following. The Platt family welcomes friends and family to wear their favorite tie-dye or band shirt in honor of Coach Platt.
The USJ choir will perform at the service.
Rob Platt, who passed away unexpectedly, was viewed as an outstanding teacher with USJ for over 12 years who cared very deeply about the success and well-being of each and every one of his students.
