From Judge Blake Anderson has signed a search warrant for a homicide on College Street. A man killed a female,  then killed himself.

JACKSON POLICE DEPARTMENT INVESTIGATING DEATHS ON EAST COLLEGE STREET

Jackson Police Department officers responded to the 900 block of E. College Street around 5:35 a.m. regarding a report of an individual lying on the front porch of a residence.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult female and an adult male, both with apparent gunshot wounds to the head. A weapon was also recovered at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation. Police are not looking for additional suspects at this time.

JPD’s Crime Scene Unit is currently processing the scene, and the investigation remains ongoing.
