From South Gibson County High School –
South Gibson County head football coach Scott Stidham announced to his team this afternoon that he will be resigning his position as coach to accept another head coaching position.
“Coach Stidham has been the head coach at SGCHS since the school opened in 2009 and has established a foundation of excellence, both on and off the field. We are greatly indebted to Coach Stidham for his dedication and commitment to our student-athletes, the school and community. We wish the best for Coach Stidham and his family. We will begin a search for the next head coach at South Gibson County immediately.” – Phil Rogers, SGCHS principal.
“I want to thank the players, coaches, administration, faculty and all of the Hornet Nation for the last 13 years. Thank you for allowing me the great honor and privilege of being your head football coach. South Gibson County High School is special, and it will always hold a special place in mine and my family’s heart.” – Coach Scott Stidham.
