Selmer, TN – As Selmer and surrounding areas in Tennessee begin to recover from recent severe storms, The Salvation Army is on the ground providing critical support to residents and first responders with hot meals, drinks, snacks, and essential supplies.

The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services team quickly mobilized following the storm, and began food service. A mobile feeding unit is currently operating out of the Selmer Community Center (205 N. 5th St.), where hot meals are being prepared and served.

The Salvation Army will continue to assess needs and provide meals, emotional and spiritual care, and distribute essential relief supplies as recovery efforts progress.
