Ryan Rolison, a 2016 graduate of the University School of Jackson, and left-handed pitcher who played baseball collegiately at Ole Miss, lowered his earned run average to 1.96, after he made his seventh appearance for the Grand Junction Rockies, Tuesday.

Pitching in the Pioneer League, Rolison faced the Missoula Osprey, in Montana.

Rolison was selected with the 22nd pick overall in the first round of the 2018 MLB Draft by the Colorado Rockies, and pitches for the parent club’s Rookie League affiliate.
