MADISON COUNTY, SR-186 (US 45 Bypass) and I-40: Interchange improvements on SR 186 (US 45) north and southbound from the I-40 ramps to Old Hickory Blvd for paving and construction of retaining walls.
Widening of I-40 from just east of Exit 79 to just east of Exit 82.
Thursday, January 16, 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. – There will be intermittent left lane closures on I-40 eastbound at Exit 79 for striping and attenuator repair.
There will be right lane closures on I-40 westbound at Exit 80 on ramp to Exit 79 and intermittent closures of Exit 80 on ramp for removal of barrier rail and to lengthen acceleration lane. (Back up dates Saturday and Sunday, January 18-19, 6 a.m. – 6 p.m)
Thursday, January 16 and Friday, January 17, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. – SR 5 (Highland Avenue) will have intermittent left and right lane closures both north and southbound from Vann Drive to the Carriage House/Ridgecrest intersection for bridge construction activities.
Saturday, January 18 and Sunday, January 19, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. – There will be intermittent left lane closures on I-40 eastbound at Exit 79 for striping and attenuator repair.
Saturday, January 18 and Sunday, January 19, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. – There will be right lane closures on I-40 westbound at Exit 80 on ramp to Exit 79 and intermittent closures of Exit 80 on ramp for removal of barrier rail and to lengthen acceleration lane.
Monday, January 20 through Wednesday, January 22, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. – SR 5 North (Highland Avenue) will have intermittent left and right lane closures both north and southbound from Vann Drive to the Carriage House/Ridgecrest intersection for bridge construction activities.
