From Madison County Highway Superintendent Bart Walls –

Madison County Highway Superintendent Bart Walls, has authorized the closure of Christmasville Road, between Morisch Road (on the north) and Ashport Road (on the south), beginning MONDAY, JULY 25, 2022, at 8 a.m., for the replacement of a cross drain on Christmasville Road.

This work is expected to be completed and the road reopened, by the end of the workday on TUESDAY, JULY 26, 2022.

Traffic that normally travels Christmasville Road should utilize alternate routes, such as Old Medina Road, U.S. Highway 45 Bypass or New Deal Road. There will be detour route signage directing traffic to use New Deal Road.

Please be alert and considerate of the presence of highway workers during this time. Madison County Highway Department appreciates the cooperation and understanding of motorists while this work is completed.
