The Tennessee Highway Patrol headquarters in Jackson makes its move to 336 Smith Lane from 20 Vann Drive, Friday.

A ribbon cutting – which is not open to the public – will open the new facility, which is located south of McKellar-Sipes Regioinal Airport, nextdoor to the De’ Greaun ReShun Frazier TBI Crime Laboratory & Regional Headquarters, 350 Smith Lane, which is scheduled to open before the end of April.

The facility is named for TBI Special Agent De’ Greaun Frazier, who died in the line of duty during an undercover operation in Jackson, Aug. 9, 2016.

The THP is closing its Vann Drive location.
