Republicans Roll – Lee, Blackburn, Kustoff, Jackson & Todd win in Madison County

The campaign lasted 13 months, but it only took about 40 minutes for Bill Lee to defeat Democratic rival Karl Dean to become the 50th Governor in the state of Tennessee.

With three percent of the vote reporting, the Associated Press called the race, Tuesday.

Marsha Blackburn becomes the first female to win a senate seat in Tennessee, with her win over former Governor Phil Bredesen.

David Kustoff returns to Washington after winning election in the 8th Congressional District.

State Senator Ed Jackson won re-election in the 27th District with his win over Savannah Williamson, and newcomer Chris Todd won the 73rd District State Representative seat with his win over James Baxter.
