According to the Multiple Listing Service, new homes for sale in Jackson in July stood at 31, compared to 33 for the same period in 2018.
New construction homes sold January 1 through July 31, was 84, compared to 70 for the same period in 2018.
The number of homes on the market, which includes all of Madison County through July 31, stood at 294.
Average days on the market – January 1 through July 31, was 55.
The average sales price for a home for July was $172,716 compared to $170,139 for July 2018.
