According to the Multiple Listing Service, new homes for sale in Jackson in January stood at 29, compared to 45 for the same period in 2018.
New construction homes sold in January was eight, compared to six for the same period in 2018.
The number of homes on the market, which includes all of Madison County through Jan. 31 stood at 257.
Average days on the market – January 1 through Jan. 31 was 60.
The average sales price for a home for January was $154,266.
