According to the Multiple Listing Service, new homes for sale in Jackson in January stood at 31, compared to 36 for the same period in 2019.
New construction homes sold January 1 through January 31, was nine compared to eight for the same period in 2019.
The number of homes on the market, which includes all of Madison County through January 31, stood at 218.
Average days on the market – January 1 through January 31, was 57.
The average sales price for a home year to date is $169,431, compared to $154,266 for January, 2019.
