According to the Multiple Listing Service, new homes for sale in Jackson from January 1 through July 31 stood at 33, compared to 26 for the same period in 2017.

New construction homes sold – January 1 through July 31, 2018 was 70, compared to 80 for the same period in 2017.

The number of homes on the market, which includes all of Madison County, stands at 299, compared to 333 for the same period in 2017.

Average days on the market – January 1 through July 31, 2018 was 62.

The average sales price for a home from January 1 through July 31, 2018 was $166,627.
