“Rallying for Justice for Doris Black,” will be held from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., at Historic First Baptist Church, 433 Dr. Martin Luther King Drive, Monday.
Doris Black is the subject of a recall election for School Board District 4.
A committee has delivered a petition to the Madison County Election Commission with the necessary 1,151 signatures needed to call an election on the question of whether to recall Black as a member of the school board.
The 1,151 signatures required is 66 percent of the vote Black received, and the required number of signatures needed for a recall.
