
JACKSON, Tenn. – Jackson Street Crimes Unit find drugs, cash, and weapons at an east Jackson home as well as the suspect they were after.
DeAndre Askew made his first court appearance to answer multiple charges from Friday’s arrest
Officers with the Street Crimes Unit of the Jackson Police Department executed a search warrant at Askew’s Washington Douglas Circle residence.
According to officers, they recovered 5.8 grams of crack cocaine, two handguns, 337 grams of marijuana and $1,714 in cash.
DeAndre Askew is charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to resale, possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, possession of marijuana with intent to resale and possession of drug paraphernalia.
His bond is set at $75,000.
