One victim is hospitalized following a shooting at the Rodeway Inn, 2239 N. Hollywood Drive, and the Jackson Police Department are questioning a person of interest.

The victim was taken to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital with serious, but non-life threatening wounds.

According to deputy chief Tyreece Miller, Jackson Police Department, police responded to a call around 8:40 a.m., Friday.

Police found the male victim in room 114 in the Rodeway Inn suffering from a gunshot wound.

No charges have been filed.
