Renovations continue at 936 Campbell Street for a new seafood restaurant – Symon’e Seafood Station – which is owned by the husband-and-wife team of Garyon and Raven Collier.
“We’ll have six or seven additional employees, and we are excited and ready to serve,” Raven Collier said, “It will be the best seafood in town.”
Originally from Humboldt, Raven said a few items on the menu will include seafood potatoes, crab boil, lobster, shrimp, and pasta.
Raven said she and Garyon are looking to open the restaurant in late February or early March.
Business hours are 11 a.m. – 6 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
The restaurant opens at the former location of Saucy Jake’s Street Food.
Jacob and Regina Richmond, who own Skillet Junction in the Neely House, 575 South Royal Street, opened Saucy Jake’s Food Truck in June 2016.
The truck’s home base is at the Neely House.
