At 25 years old, Jonathan Cardwell could be viewed as a veteran at Chick-fil-A.
“I started working in Memphis at age 15 while I was in school,” Jonathan said. “I continued to work for Chick-fil-A in Oxford, when I went to Ole Miss, but I never started out thinking I would own a Chick-fil-A restaurant.”
Talking to Jonathan, you can see how he moved up the ranks with the popular restaurant chain, and why he and wife Lauren – also a Memphis native – were selected as owner/operators of the Old Hickory Mall location.
They became owners March 1.
“I have a passion for the brand and a passion for the service,” Jonathan said. “I served in Chick-fil-A’s Leadership Development Program traveling throughout the country supporting grand openings and company operated restaurants.”
Jonathan and Lauren received their college degrees in Business Management – he from Ole Miss in 2014 and she from the University of Memphis one year later.
“The desire we have at Chick-fil-A at the Old Hickory Mall is to serve a hot, fresh, quality product,” Jonathan said. “That’s the passion we have.”
