With a new $2.1 billion domed stadium under construction, the Tennessee Titans – and Gov. Bill Lee – are looking to the future.
According to reports, Lee has sent a letter to Roger Goodell, the commissioner of the NFL, with hopes of landing the Super Bowl as early as 2029.
The main reason Nashville has 2029 circled for the possibility of hosting a Super Bowl is because a new stadium has to have been open for at least one full season before it can host the NFL’s championship game.
Another reason is the Super Bowl is booked for the next three years.
Super Bowl LX: Bay Area (February 2026)
Super Bowl LXI: Los Angeles (February 2027)
Super Bowl LXII: Atlanta (February 2028)
The new home for the Titans is scheduled to seat approximately 60,000 fans and cover 1.7 million-square-feet.
