No injuries have been reported, but the Jackson Police Department is working an automobile accident involving multiple vehicles eastbound lane underneath the U.S. Highway 45 Bypass on Vann Drive near the Walmart entrance to Emporium Drive.
With two eastbound lanes blocked, traffic is heavy and backed up.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area, if possible.
