Mitch Carter was a wonderful soul. He took pictures for us over the years. One of my pictures hung in his studio as an advertisement for his fantastic gift as a photographer. He was always kind enough to lend an ear and words of wisdom. One day, I stopped by his studio for a chat, and he had just finished a photo shoot in the garden next to his studio. He invited me to step over and let him take a couple of pictures in the archway of the garden. He captured the moment beautifully. Mitch literally made a lot of people smile…” Say Cheese.” Mitch, now you can enjoy God’s majestic nature and scenic beauty from a different view. Blessings and Peace for the rest of your Mr. Mitch.

Mitch took pictures of my family at Christmas for many years – often on Christmas Eve. He was so kind and always made us laugh. I treasure all of the wonderful photographs he took of my family. He will be missed.

  5. One if a kind ! Mitch and I were friends pretty much from the time he got off the Greyhound bus in Jackson.
He never meet a soul that he didn’t befriend. He was simply a pillar of the community and will be missed by many. RIP my friend .
