The City of Jackson Mayor’s Youth Council, established to provide youth with an opportunity to advise Mayor Scott Conger and City Council on issues facing younger generations while generating ideas for improvement, was sworn in during the City Council meeting at City Hall, Tuesday.

The Youth Council is comprised of area high school students and they meet once a month.
