From the Madison County Sheriff’s Office –
A sentencing hearing found defendant Kevin Grammer guilty of aggravated robbery, theft of property of over $1,000, evading arrest, reckless driving, reckless endangerment by use of a dangerous weapon and multiple lesser charges, in Circuit Court, Monday.
The jury also fined the defendant the maximum fines allowed. He was sentenced to 12 years at 85 percent on the aggravated robbery and two years at 30 percent on the remaining guilty verdicts.
Also, the co-defendant in this case, Brent Martin, plead guilty to aggravated robbery with eight years at 85 percent on October 2, for his involvement in this incident which occurred December 14, 2018.
Sheriff John Mehr had praise for his two Deputies who responded quickly to the robbery at Maverick Convenience Store at Three Way Lane.
These two men were captured in 12 minutes.
