Jackson, TN – U.S. Marshal Jeff Holt announced today the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Jackson Police Department are asking for the public’s help in locating Sean Jamal Blackmon who is wanted on charges of Reckless Homicide and Leaving the scene of an Accident. According to investigators Blackmon is believed to have been involved in a vehicle accident which occurred in Jackson on October 15. Blackmon is suspected of being the driver of a vehicle which ran a stop sign at a high rate of speed at the intersection of North Lindsey and Lexington Street, hitting a second vehicle and killing the other driver. The driver of the vehicle which caused the collision fled from the scene on foot before police arrived.

Marshals believe Blackmon is still in the West Tennessee area and are asking anyone with information as to his whereabouts contact them at 731-427-4661 or the Jackson Police Department at 731-424-TIPS. A significant reward is being offered for information which leads to Blackmon’s arrest. All information is confidential and callers will remain anonymous
