From the Jackson Police Department –

Officers with the Jackson Police Department are investigating a shooting in the 1100 Block of Hollywood Drive at approximately 10:50 p.m., Thursday.

Officers responded to a shots fired call and found a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported by Emergency Medical Services to a local hospital with what appeared to be life-threatening injuries.

This is an ongoing investigation.
