From Trinity Christian Academy –
Trinity Christian Academy is pleased to announce Maggie Brooks as our new varsity head volleyball coach.
Maggie attended Trinity Christian Academy for 13 years, graduating in 2017.
While at TCA, Maggie had an outstanding volleyball career under the direction of coach Kelly Elliott.
She was named all-District twice, as well as being named to the all-tournament team. Maggie played an integral role in helping her high school teams make four consecutive trips to the TSSAA state volleyball tournament while finishing as state runner-up in 2014.
After graduating from TCA, Maggie played collegiately at Crowley’s Ridge College and Bethel University.
Her collegiate accomplishments include SSAC Setter of the Week, SSAC All-Academic Team, NAIA Champion of Character and Mid-South Conference Setter of the Week.
Maggie graduated from Bethel University in 2022 with a degree in Biology. She served as an assistant coach at TCA during the 2022 volleyball season.
“We are extremely excited to welcome coach Brooks to our TCA family,” said Dexter Williams, TCA’s athletic director, “It’s always exciting to see alumni come back and serve as leaders. I look forward to serving with her and watching her grow and excel as a coach.”
Maggie grew up in the Bells community and attends Mercer Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoys fishing, photography and being outside.
TCA is excited to welcome Maggie home to TCA as our new volleyball coach.
