Madison County Fire Fighter Mark Ferguson was awarded by Governor Phil Bredesen and Tennessee Homeland Security, the First Responders Award for District 10. Fire Fighter Mark Ferguson traveled Friday, September 10, 2010, to Tennessee State Capitol where he received recognition for outstanding service in the best interests and in the highest traditions of the State of Tennessee. Mark received this award for saving the life of a child on March 7, 2010. He has been with the Madison County Fire Department for the last 25 years and continues to serve our community with pride.
