Logan’s Roadhouse, Downtown Tavern apply for beer permits, Tuesday

Logan’s Roadhouse 604 Carriage House Drive and the Downtown Tavern, 208 North Liberty St., are scheduled to apply for beer permits to sell, store and serve on the premises where sold, at City Hall, Tuesday.

Logan’s Roadhouse – which closed temporarily in March, but reopened in July – is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays.

Aaron L. Newton is the general manager of the restaurant, Jenna Shorts serves as the front of house manager and Kenny Hixon is the kitchen manager.

Logan’s Roadhouse – the company – filed for bankruptcy in 2016.

The Nashville, Tennessee based restaurant chain operated 250 restaurants nationwide.

Management at the Downtown Tavern could not be reached for comment.
