The 60-mile drive Linda French made from Camden to Jackson, Tuesday, was well worth it.

Linda was recognized as the West Tennessee Healthcare’s employee of the month for October, during the monthly Board of Trustees meeting.

A 38-year employee of West Tennessee Healthcare, Linda works in admissions at Camden General Hospital.

According to a press release from West Tennessee Healthcare, “Linda works the front desk in admissions. It can get more than just a little busy, but she always gets up from her desk when she notices a patient needing help at the front door or even taking a wheelchair out to family members.
“She speaks with a very pleasant voice and shows respect to all the patients, family members and her co-workers.
“Linda is patient with new employees during training and her co-workers know she is dependable. She is a great asset to the hospital and all that come in contact with her daily. She is a blessing to us all.”
