JACKSON, TN – LIFELINE Blood Services will host a festive blood drive this May. In honor of this vibrant cultural celebration, we are excited to host our annual Cinco de Mayo theme blood drive at our Jackson Center on Thursday, May 1.
LIFELINE has partnered with Tulum Fresh Mexican Grill, located at 1319 Union University Drive and 71 Carriage House Drive, to offer their first 100 “Cinco de Mayo” donors a voucher for a free entree.
In addition to the satisfaction of knowing they’ve helped save up to 3 lives with their donation, each donor will receive a limited edition Cinco de Mayo donor t-shirt.
The blood drive, themed around the festive Cinco de Mayo holiday, aims to raise awareness about the ongoing need for blood donations while also providing a fun incentive for our donors and will last from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

LIFELINE provides blood services to 21 West Tennessee counties, including 15 hospitals and 22 emergency helicopter service locations and 1 ground ambulance service. Annually, the Center collects approximately 26,000 blood products (red cell units, platelets, plasma, etc.) to meet the needs of patients. Of that total, 75% of those products are usually collected on the bloodmobiles across West Tennessee. LIFELINE also provides reference lab and cross-matching services to healthcare facilities.
