MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) — Organizers say some of the biggest names in bluegrass will take stage at this year’s Uncle Dave Macon Days Old-Time Music and Dance Festival in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

The event is set for July 10-12 at the historic Cannonsburgh Village.

The legendary Ralph Stanley will be honored Friday evening as the Heritage Award winner, which spotlights individuals who have dedicated careers to preserving old-time music and dance.

And The SteelDrivers will be given the Trailblazer Award on Saturday. This award spotlights those who have developed old-time musical performance styles and techniques that blaze the trail for others to refine contemporary genres.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for seniors on Friday and Saturday of the festival, and $5 on Sunday, with children 12 and younger admitted free. A discount is offered at uncledavemacondays.com for a three-day pass.
