Kevin Finch, a senior running back at the University School of Jackson, has been named the NEWS/TALK 101.5 FM, WNWS.COM football ‘Player of the Week,’ presented by Mann’s Wrecker and AJD Metal Designs.com.
Kevin rushed for 276 yards on 27 carries and scored three touchdowns – 2 rushing and 1 receiving – in USJ’s 59-17 win over Jackson Christian.

“Thank you for the award, and I’m happy me and my teammates got the win (last) Thursday against JCS,” Kevin said, “We had to make a few changes to our offense (at halftime), but we still stuck after it and did what we had to do to get the win. ”
We all play as a team and trust in one another.”
